Greetings and salutations! How’s everybody doing out there? There’s a lot going on in my world, but first I’ll share some words from my fictional world. Here’s the latest from Love Unleashed!
Continuing from where we left off…
“Oh, look at you. You’re just glowing!” Carol gushed.
Hannah caught Kent’s dumbfounded expression and bit back a laugh. She’d be the first to admit the treatments people paid for were nothing short of excessive, but pet owners would do anything for their beloved fur babies.
Rafael handled Carol’s payment at the counter, and Hannah returned her attention to the other two shop dwellers. “And now you know all our best-kept spa secrets.”
“What’s a spa?” Diana asked. “Can I see it?”
“Diana,” Kent gently chided. “We’ve already taken up enough of Hannah’s time.”
***End of WWW post, but here’s a bit more!***
The hopeful expression on Diana’s face tugged at Hannah’s heartstrings. “Tell you what, I’ll give you the free five-minute tour. But only if it’s okay with your daddy.”
Kent glanced from Hannah to Diana and shrugged. “I can’t fight two strong-minded women.”
Hannah held out her palm for a high five, which Diana smacked in triumph. “Compliment accepted,” she said to Kent, her chin raised. “Okay, kiddo, follow me.” She clasped Diana’s hand and led her to the rear part of the shop.
Here’s the blurb:
Hannah Barker has it all. A booming business, a fabulous group of girlfriends, and a loving and devoted housemate…with floppy ears and a wet nose. She doesn’t have time for romance. Or so she says.
Kent Clarkson is a single father on a mission to keep his daughter safe. But when the blonde bombshell he’s been butting heads with all summer proposes opening a dog park, Kent—who’s been once bitten and more than twice shy—goes on the offensive. Soon, it’s all-out war.
The whole town knows the chemistry between Hannah and Kent is off the leash, but can these two set aside their differences long enough to fall in love?

Well, folks, I’m taking a mini hiatus for the next few weeks. We’re in the process of getting my dad’s house ready to sell, and there’s tons of work to be done, which I’m doing on a bad hip. Needless to say, the progress, she is slow. I’m also feeling all the emotions. My dad built this house–our family home. Twenty-seven acres of beautiful country land, a kid’s paradise. There are so many memories of my mom in the house, too, and it’s been difficult sorting through all the pictures and cards and gifts from years gone by. But we’ve put this off for long enough, and the market is hot right now, so we’re digging in and getting the job done. Wish us luck, friends! Take care and see you soon! xo
